Visitar’s CRM Visits University

It’s not just business concerns that are leveraging CRM solutions to drive productivity, enhance customer satisfaction and increase profits; educational institutions are also looking to boost their relationships with current and prospective students by providing them the right information at the right time.
The University of Louisville has chosen to go with 360(degree) Care viaVisitar, the CRM solution from Visitar, to share information with and record statistics about callers to its school, which comprises the Health Science Center, the National Crime Prevention Institute, and the Belknap Campus. Following the success of the application at the institution’s Student Financial Aid Office, the IT department is recommending the solution to other departments of the University too.
The solution allows automation of the financial services menu that parents and students can access before being connected to concerned staff members, who provide them with additional information tailored to suit the student’s needs based on interaction records that have been captured earlier. The system does put callers on hold, but at least they have the option of listening to the services on offer and knowing from queue times when they will be able to talk to a live staff member.
